Amazing

It takes a while to get used to ( took me 3/4 cycles), but I can’t ever go back now !

I discovered on my cup journey that I have a high cervix, so some other cups were way to difficult to remove ( like saalt). This cup allows me to find the loop, pull it a bit down and then pinch it which is perfect. You just have to really really relax ( maybe go to the toilet just before and puuuush) and it’ll be well within reach, especially with the aid of the loop part.

The material is super comfortable, I don’t feel it at all when it’s in there, it’s like I’m not even on my period!

Great product with a great ethos

Firstly, as a South Indian girl I cannot express the pride I have for the people who have created this product. The fact that each cup I buy provides a cup for a woman who would otherwise not get one reassured me that this was the right brand to buy from.

Now the actual product, I was definitely intimidated at first as this is my first menstrual cup. But the very well structured and informed website put all those fears to rest with tips on folding techniques and how to clean the actual cup which were all concerns for me as a newbie.

The cup works like a dream. I’ve been using it for 3 months now and have had no leaks, I regularly swim and gym with it feeling no discomfort. The handy loop is simply genius and cleaning is easy with the solution. The pretty cloth pouch it comes with is just the perfect touch.

Life changer!

I’ve tried a few menstrual cups but this is by far the best! Fits well with no leaks and the loop is genius to make removal easy and pain free!

Loved it!

Had no trouble adapting to it. The loop makes it incredibly easy to take out and empty straight in the toilet without the fear of dropping it. Loved it!

FAQs

How do menstrual cups work?

A menstrual cup is a bell-shaped device that collects period flow. Fold your cup in half and insert into your vagina. Your cup will pop open and form a leak-proof seal. You can wear your cup for up to 12 hours. To remove, locate your cup using the removal ring, then pinch to break the seal and wiggle your cup out. You can wash your cup and re-use it straight away.

Is the Asan cup safe to use?

Yes, it is extremely safe. The Asan cup is made from USP Class VI silicone, which is the same material used in heart stents. It is biocompatible and does not contain plastics, toxins, BPAs or harmful chemicals. We have a patent for our design and follow strict quality standards.

Can the Asan cup get stuck?

No, the Asan cup cannot get lost or stuck inside you. The vaginal canal ends in the cervix, and a menstrual cup cannot go above this point. Asan's unique ring design makes it very easy to locate the cup - simply guide two fingers into your vagina and pull on the ring to bring your cup downwards. You can then pinch it to break the seal.

What comes in the box?

Your purchase includes an Asan cup, cloth storage pouches, a welcome card and an illustrated user guide. Our packaging is plastic-free and 95% recyclable.

Is the Asan cup worth the price?

The average UK woman spends over £100 on period products per year. By contrast, the Asan cup is a one-time purchase of just £25. Our innovative design is easier to use than traditional menstrual cups. We use the world's highest quality silicone to ensure a safe and durable product that will truly last up to 10 years.
